Livingston, TX – Gary Brown Fatally Injured in Commercial Vehicle Crash on Polk St

Livingston, TX (January 18, 2023) – A train accident took place on Thursday evening in the Livingston area that claimed the life of a 56-year-old man. Just after 4 p.m., on January 12, the Livingston Police Department responded to the scene of a traffic accident that took place on Polk Street.

According to authorities, 56-year-old Gary Lee Brown was struck by a train traveling south in the area of Polk Street.

Brown was severely hurt due to the crash. He was transported to CHI St. Luke’s Hospital. He was then airlifted to a hospital in Kingwood, where he later passed away from the injuries he suffered.

No other injuries were reported in this accident. The Livingston Police Department is currently investigating.
