Midland County, TX (December 31, 2022) – One man has suffered fatal injuries as a result of the truck collision that took place in Midland County on Thursday evening. On December 29, at around 6:30 p.m., the Texas Department of Public Safety reported to a traffic wreck on Texas State Highway 158.

According to law enforcement, 52-year-old Margo Antonio Vallejo was driving a 2000 Kenworth truck with a trailer attached to it south on Texas State Highway 158. As he attempted to make a left turn, his vehicle collided with a 2020 Ford F350 pickup truck, which was driven by 41-year-old David Vela.

Vela was severely harmed in the accident. He was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of his injuries.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is actively investigating the accident.
