About Attorney R. Clay Kimbrough

R. Clay Kimbrough joined Goudarzi and Young in 2021.

Mr. Kimbrough was born in Austin, Texas and raised in Central Texas in Lockhart. He also has strong family ties to East Texas and Gilmer where he has returned with his wife, Ellen, to raise their two young children, August and Emma, while fighting for the rights of victims of catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases at Goudarzi and Young.

He attended Texas A&M University where he was a proud member of the Corps of Cadets and the Ross Volunteers. After graduating with a degree from the Mays Business School in 2007, he attended the Texas Tech University School of Law where he was a member of the prestigious Board of Barristers and received his J.D. in 2010.

For over 10 years, Mr. Kimbrough has been serving his community and advocating on behalf of victims of violent crime across the State. He honorably served in District Attorney’s Offices as an Assistant District Attorney in Lubbock, Brazos, and Smith Counties. Mr. Kimbrough has tried over 100 jury trials in courtrooms across the State of Texas. His hard-earned trial experience is invaluable to the work being done to aggressively represent our victims of catastrophic injury and wrongful death at Goudarzi and Young.

Four generations of Mr. Kimbrough’s family have served their respective communities in courtrooms in Gilmer, Lockhart, and across this great State of Texas. Mr. Kimbrough continues this hard-working legacy of service here at Goudarzi and Young fighting for you and your family every day.
