About Attorney Dain Goudarzi

Dain Goudarzi is a trial lawyer who was born and raised in East Texas where he was a fifth-generation graduate of Gilmer High School. Growing up, he followed his father, Brent Goudarzi, and his uncle, Marty Young, to courthouses across the state of Texas and the United States and always knew he wanted to be a lawyer.

Dain completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Alabama, where he earned degrees in Business and Criminal Justice and interned for the Chief Judge of the Northern District of Alabama, the Honorable L. Scott Coogler. Afterward, he attended the SMU Dedman School of Law in Dallas, Texas. During his first year of law school, he won the SMU Closing Argument Competition and earned a spot on SMU’s National Mock Trial Team in his second year.

After his second year, Dain was granted a provisional bar card by the Texas Supreme Court, allowing him to try cases for his clients in Texas state courts. During his third year of law school, he served as the first-chair lawyer in 85 depositions and tried three cases from voir dire to verdict. Notably, Dain achieved the largest verdict in Texas history for an attorney on a provisional bar card—$169,635.72 in a case where the plaintiff had incurred $19,635.72 in medical expenses. Additionally, he settled another case as the first-chair lawyer, for policy limits, at $1,500,000.00, where the plaintiff had $108,373.60 in medical expenses.

Presently, Dain handles personal injury cases all over the State of Texas and takes a great deal of pride in ensuring that his clients are justly compensated for their injuries.
