Fatal Truck Accidents in Texas

Fatal truck accidents take hundreds of lives annually here in Texas. Quite often, these accidents are completely preventable. Innocent people are forced to pay the overwhelming consequences of drivers who engage in negligent actions. One of the most common causes of fatal truck accidents is when drivers disregard stop signs and red lights at intersections.

There are a number of factors that contribute to this problem. First, many truck drivers are under pressure to meet tight schedules and may feel like they can’t afford to slow down for a red light or stop sign. Second, some truck drivers may be fatigued from driving long hours and not be as alert as they should be. And third, some truck drivers may simply be careless or reckless behind the wheel.

Whatever the cause, running a red light or stop sign is dangerous and puts everyone on the road at risk, and causes serious injuries and deaths every single year. If your loved one lost their life as a result of a fatal truck crash, a wrongful death lawyer in Cactus can help your family get justice.
