Carthage, TX – Ian Simpson Fatally Injured in Truck Crash on TX-315

Carthage, TX (December 16, 2022) – A traffic accident took place in Carthage that claimed the life of one man. The crash was reported just after 4 a.m. on December 11.

According to reports provided by the Texas Department of Public Safety, 35-year-old Ian Simpson was driving a truck east on Texas State Highway 315 when his vehicle was involved in a crash with a tractor-trailer.

The driver of the truck, 33-year-old Craig Ralls, received medical treatment at the scene for his injuries.

Simpson was fatally injured as a result of the crash and pronounced deceased on-site by responding officers.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is currently investigating.
