Bus Accidents in Texas

Bus accidents across the United States leave at least 14,000 people injured every single year. More than 60,000 bus crashes are reported across the country, many of them due to negligence. When innocent people are harmed in bus accidents, they often have legal options available to help them move forward.

In many cases, people file personal injury lawsuits against the responsible party. If you are involved in a bus accident, there are a few different parties who could potentially be held liable. The first is the bus driver. If the driver was acting negligently or recklessly at the time of the accident, they may be held liable for any resulting injuries or damages.

Another party who could potentially be held liable is the bus company. If the company failed to properly maintain the bus or hired an inexperienced or unqualified driver, they may be held responsible for any resulting accidents or injuries.

Finally, if the accident was caused by a defective part on the bus, the manufacturer of that part could be held liable. If you have been involved in a bus accident, it is important to speak with an experienced personal injury attorney to determine who may be held liable in your case.
