Ferris, TX – UPS Truck Crash on I-45 near Malloy Bridge Rd Takes One Life

Ferris, TX (January 6, 2023) – A truck accident reported in the Dallas area claimed one person’s life. On January 5, authorities were called to the scene of a traffic accident that took place on Interstate 45.

According to reports from law enforcement, a UPS truck was involved in a collision with the southbound side of Interstate 45. The impact of the crash sent the truck through a guardrail just south of Malloy Bridge Road.

The truck went down an embankment and landed in the water below. The driver of the vehicle was rescued from the Creek by the Dallas Fire Rescue’s Dive Team.

One victim involved in the crash suffered fatal injuries. The person was pronounced dead at the scene.

At this time, the Dallas Police Department is investigating the accident.
