Geary, OK – Randy Reavess Garrett Injured in Truck Crash on County Rd N2610 near County Rd E0940

Geary, OK (January 2, 2023) – One man was left with significant injuries following a truck accident that took place in Blaine County. On December 28, authorities were called to the scene of a crash on County Road N2610.

According to law enforcement, and around 11:11 p.m., a 2013 Ford F3 50 pickup truck collided with a 2019 Kenworth truck tractor-trailer on County Road N2610 in the area of County Road E0940.

The incident blocked the roadway just one mile west of Geary, Oklahoma.

The driver of the Ford, 63-year-old Randy Reavess Garrett, was trapped inside of his vehicle. It took authorities more than 45 minutes to extricate him from his vehicle. Garrett was then transported by Air Evac to OU Medical in Oklahoma City for emergency care.

All of the other people involved in the accident refused medical care.

Preliminary investigations found that the driver of the semi-truck, 30-year-old Joshua David Von Tress, ran a stop sign at the intersection and collided with the pickup truck.

This time, the incident remains under investigation.
