Truck Accidents in Texas

In Texas, we are no strangers to devastating truck accidents. Each year, hundreds of people die as a result of accidents involving commercial vehicles. Thousands more are left with serious injuries that impact their lives forever.

If you were hurt in a commercial truck accident, you may be able to sue the truck driver, the trucking company, or both. To determine who is at fault for your accident and whether you have a case, you should speak with an experienced personal injury attorney.

The truck driver may be liable if he or she was driving recklessly or breaking the law at the time of the accident. The trucking company may be liable if it failed to properly maintain the truck or if it did not properly train or supervise the driver.

You will need to show that the truck driver or trucking company was negligent in order to recover damages. It can be proven by showing that the driver or company breached a duty of care owed to you and that this breach resulted in your injuries.
