Truck Accidents in Texas

Truck accidents are reported every day in the state of Texas. In many instances, people suffered debilitating injuries that require medical care. We see countless people hospitalized with severe trauma to the head, broken bones, and internal organ injuries.

The impacts of a truck crash can be far-reaching. Quite often, victims and their families suffer as well. If you were harmed as a result of the truck crash, you may be able to take legal action against the responsible party. Following a truck crash, there are several parties who can be held liable for any resulting injuries and damages that you have suffered.

The most obvious party would be the truck driver. If the driver was driving recklessly or negligently, then they would be held liable for any accidents or injuries that resulted from their actions.

Other parties who could potentially be held liable include the trucking company if they failed to properly maintain the trucks or train the drivers; the manufacturer of the truck if there was a defect in the design or manufacture of the truck; and even the shipper of the cargo if they overloaded the truck or failed to properly secure the load.

In any truck accident case, it is important to investigate all potential sources of liability so that you can get full and fair compensation for your injuries.
