Houston, TX – Truck Crash Reported on I-45 near Gulf Bank Rd

Houston, TX (December 25, 2022) – One man was left with severe injuries as a result of a crash that took place early Sunday morning. On December 25, the Houston Police Department responded to a collision that took place on Interstate 45.

Reports provided by Houston fire officials indicate that a pickup truck and a semi-truck collided on Interstate 45 on the inbound side near Gulf Bank Road. The pickup truck became trapped under the semi-truck during the morning hours.

The driver of the pickup truck suffered severe injuries in the accident. Authorities had to lift up the pickup truck to remove the driver from the pickup. He was flown by air ambulance to an area hospital for emergency care.
