Lubbock, TX – Three Hurt in Truck Wreck on I-27 near Municipal Dr

Lubbock, TX (November 17, 2022) – An automobile accident took place in Lubbock on Tuesday evening that resulted in injuries for several people. Just before 545 p.m., November 15, the limbic Police Department and firefighters were notified that a crash took place on Interstate 27 that required assistance.

According to law enforcement, an SUV and an 18-wheeler collided on the northbound side of Interstate 27 in the area near Municipal Drive. The incident blocked the road, causing severe delays in the area near the on-ramp from Marsha Sharp Freeway.

Two people suffered moderate injuries due to the crash and had to be rushed to a local hospital. A third victim was treated for minor injuries. The Lubbock police are investigating the crash at this time.
