Martin County, TX – Joshua McCracken Killed in Truck Crash on TX-349

Martin County, TX (December 27, 2022) – Authorities in Martin County have named Joshua McCracken as the man who died as a result of the truck accident that took place on Wednesday in Martin County. On December 21, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a traffic crash that took place on Texas State Highway 349.

According to authorities, a semi-truck and a second vehicle collided on the southbound side of Texas State Highway 349. A third vehicle was also involved in the accident after striking the trailer of the semi.

A fourth vehicle was traveling down the roadway when it struck some of the debris from the accident.

The driver of the second vehicle, identified as McCracken, suffered severe injuries. He was rushed by ambulance to Midland Memorial Hospital, where he passed away from his injuries.

The circumstances surrounding the accident are being investigated by the Texas Department of Public Safety. No other injuries were reported.
