Fatal Truck Accidents in Texas

In 2021, a total of 5601 people died as a result of commercial vehicle accidents in the United States. Approximately 10% of these deaths occurred right here in Texas There are many reasons why these accidents continue to take place frequently in our area.  Some of the leading factors in truck accidents include:

Distracted drivers: Drivers who are distracted, either by their cell phone, food, or even another person, can quickly cause an accident.

Impaired drivers: When drivers are impaired by drugs or alcohol, they are likely to have problems operating their vehicles safely. Driving while impaired can significantly impact your judgment and lead to poor decision-making.

Drivers who are speeding: When drivers are speeding or traveling too fast for road conditions, they may not be able to stop in time to avoid a collision with the vehicle ahead. Speeding also increases the chances that a driver will lose control of their vehicle.
