Truck Accidents in Oklahoma

Truck crashes take the lives of thousands of people across the United States each year. Tens of thousands more are left with serious injuries as a result of collisions. In many cases, these accidents leave victims with serious injuries that impact their lives indefinitely.

Undoubtedly, there are many dangers on the road. However, one of the most feared dangers is being involved in a truck. When a large 18-wheeler is involved in a collision with a smaller vehicle, the results are often catastrophic. One of the leading causes of truck accidents is when the trailer becomes detached from the truck. This can happen for a number of reasons, but often it is due to faulty equipment or poor maintenance.

When a trailer comes detached from a truck, it can cause the truck to lose control and jackknife. This can block traffic and cause other accidents as drivers swerve to avoid the out-of-control truck. Even if the detached trailer does not hit another vehicle, it can be extremely dangerous. The contents of the trailer can spill onto the road, causing serious hazards for other motorists.

If you have been involved in a truck accident caused by a detached trailer, you may be entitled to compensation. A skilled Sand Springs truck accident lawyer can help you navigate the legal process and fight for the compensation you need to cover the damages you face. This can include recovering compensation for medical costs, vehicle repair expenses, pain and suffering, loss of enjoyment of life, and more.
