Getting Justice after a Truck Crash in Texas

In Texas, truck crashes lead to thousands of injuries annually. Unfortunately, we see many people hospitalized with significant trauma to the head, spinal cord injuries, and other severe injuries that require medical care. When innocent people are hurt as a result of these accidents, they are able to take legal action against the person who is at fault. In order to get justice, they must be able to prove liability.

To do this, you must show that the commercial truck driver or truck company did not exercise the proper degree of care under the circumstances. You must also be able to demonstrate that their negligence was the cause of your injuries.

There are many potential causes of a truck accident, but some of the most common include:

  • Driver fatigue
  • Speeding
  • Improperly maintained trucks
  • Inexperienced drivers
  • Aggressive driving

After proving the act of negligence that caused your harm, you must be able to prove the damages that you have suffered as a result. This can include lost wages, vehicle repair costs, medical expenses, and even non-economic damages, such as pain and suffering.
