Commercial Vehicle Accidents in Texas

Bus accidents take place frequently in Texas that have a devastating impact on the lives of those involved. Every day, innocent people are forced to deal with painful injuries that require medical care. The most common injuries reported in bus crashes across our state include:

  • Whiplash
  • Neck and back injuries
  • Headaches
  • Broken bones
  • Soft tissue damage

If you have suffered a serious injury as a result of a bus accident, you may be able to pursue legal action. A personal injury claim can help you obtain compensation for medical costs, lost earning capacity, and various other expenses that you face. It is important that you are able to identify the liable party in order to take legal action.

The bus company is usually liable for accidents that occur while the bus is in operation. This means that if the bus hits another vehicle or pedestrian, the bus company will be responsible for any damages or injuries that result. However, there are some exceptions to this rule. If the accident was caused by a mechanical failure, the bus company may not be held liable. Additionally, if the driver of the bus was intoxicated or otherwise at fault, the company may not be held liable for damages.

It is important that you seek the assistance of a personal injury lawyer in Wichita Falls as soon as possible to explore the legal options available to help you move forward. An attorney will be able to file a claim on your behalf against the responsible party and seek the maximum amount of compensation possible.
