Multi-Vehicle Truck Accidents in Texas

Truck accidents occur every single day in Texas. Many of them result in injuries. Unfortunately, victims of truck accidents are often forced to deal with overwhelming consequences. Depending on the circumstances of your accident, you may be able to pursue legal action against the responsible party.

It is important to investigate the accident to determine who was at fault. There are many factors that can contribute to a truck accident, so it is important to review all of the evidence to make a determination carefully.

Some things that you will want to look at when investigating a truck accident include:

  • The police report: This will provide an official account of what happened and can be helpful in identifying who was at fault.
  • Eyewitness accounts: If there were any eyewitnesses to the accident, their accounts could be helpful in determining what happened.
  • The truck driver’s logs: These logs can help to determine if the driver was following the hours of service regulations and if they were rested enough to be driving.
  • The truck’s maintenance records: These records can help to show if the truck was properly maintained and if there were any mechanical issues that could have contributed to the accident.
