Edinburg, TX – Man Injured in Rollover Truck Crash on I-69C near US-281

Edinburg, TX (January 12, 2023) – A truck crash was reported in the city of Eden Bird on Tuesday evening that left one man injured. On January 10, the Texas Department of Transportation reported that a car crash took place on Interstate 69C.

According to reports, a Kenilworth tractor-trailer was pulling an enclosed trailer in the 8400 block of North Interstate 69C during the early morning hours. For unknown reasons, the tire blew out, causing the vehicle to become involved in a rollover collision. The incident blocked the roadway, causing severe delays that extended into the early morning hours.

A 52-year-old man involved in the accident was injured. The man was transported to an area hospital for emergency care.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is currently investigating the accident.
