Houston, TX – Pedestrian Loses Life in METRO Bus Crash on Scott St near Alabama St

Houston, TX (January 3, 2023) – A commercial vehicle accident occurred in the Houston area just before midnight on New Year’s Day that claimed one man’s life.

On January 1, the Houston Police Department was called to the scene of a traffic accident that occurred on Scott Street.

According to reports provided by witnesses, a male pedestrian was running toward the METRO bus at the intersection of Scott Street and Alabama Street when he was struck by the vehicle.

The man suffered fatal injuries due to the accident and was pronounced deceased at the scene. He has not yet been identified to the public.

The Houston Police Department is currently investigating the accident. No other injuries were reported.
