Lubbock, TX (December 2, 2022) – A truck accident took place in the limbic area that left two people injured on Thursday evening, December 1. Calls for help were received by the Lubbock Police Department just before 8:30 p.m.

According to reports provided by the police, a truck and an SUV collided on 56th Street at the intersection of University Avenue during the evening hours. The crash blocked multiple lanes of travel, causing delays throughout the area.

EMS responded to the scene to provide care to the victims. Two people reportedly suffered injuries in the accident and were transported to area hospitals.
