Martin County, TX – Valentine Junior Carrasco Killed in Mack Truck Crash on TX-349 near MM 313

Martin County, TX (December 18, 2022) – One man has died as a result of a traffic accident that took place in Martin County. At around 9:20 a.m., on December 14, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a crash on Texas State Route 349.

According to reports, 41-year-old Valentine Junior Carrasco was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado south on Texas State Route 349. For unknown reasons, he became involved in a collision with a 2004 Mack truck near mile marker 313.

Carrasco’s vehicle suffered severe damage in the accident. He suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the Mack truck is treated for injuries.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
