Truck Accidents in Oklahoma

Truck accidents cause thousands of deaths across the United States and tens of thousands of injuries. Here in Oklahoma, we see countless innocent people left with severe injuries as a result of these accidents each year. Due to the size and weight of commercial vehicles, victims who are involved in accidents with them are likely to suffer severe trauma to the head, internal organ injuries, and other injuries that severely impact their health and quality of life.

After being harmed in a truck accident, you may be able to file a personal injury case against the responsible party. In order to do so, you must be able to establish liability.

Liability in a commercial truck accident case depends on proving negligence. To do this, you must show that the commercial truck driver or truck company did not exercise the proper degree of care under the circumstances and that their negligence was the cause of your injuries or the death of your loved one.

There are many potential causes of a truck accident, but some of the most common include:

  • Driver fatigue
  • Speeding
  • Improperly maintained trucks
  • Inexperienced drivers
  • Aggressive driving

If you have been injured as a result of a truck accident in Oklahoma, you may be able to file a truck accident claim for compensation against the truck drivers, truck company, insurance company, or another responsible party. This type of legal action provides certain family members of the truck accident victim with the ability to recover compensation for their damages, including medical expenses, mental anguish, and other costs and losses that you face. Truck accident cases can be incredibly complex, so hiring a skilled and experienced Oklahoma City truck accident lawyer is in your best interest.
