Truck Accidents in Texas

The aftermath of a truck accident can be incredibly challenging. Each year in Texas, thousands of people are forced to undergo extensive medical care after crashes involving commercial vehicles. Due to the fact that these vehicles can weigh up to 80,000 lbs while fully loaded, the chances of suffering significant injuries are drastically increased.

In order to get justice after being harmed in a truck accident, it is important that you contact a Houston truck accident lawyer right away. An attorney will be able to help guide you through the legal process.

Following a truck accident, you may be able to file a personal injury case for damages against each liable party. Unlike other types of vehicle collisions, these cases often involve multiple defendants, all of which share some portion of liability for your injuries and damages. Some liable parties that you can take legal action against include:

  • The truck driver
  • The trucking company
  • The owner of the truck
  • The cargo or loading company
  • The maintenance company

Hiring a skilled and seasoned legal team can help you determine who is liable for your damages and file the appropriate legal action against them. A personal injury case can help you recover financial compensation for medical costs, lost earning capacity, and various other financial burdens that you face as a result of your crash.
