La Salle County, TX – Man Severely Injured in Truck Crash on I-35 near MM 45

La Salle County, TX (November 15, 2022) – A man was left with significant injuries following a truck accident that occurred in La Salle County. Calls for help were received by the Texas Department of Public Safety regarding a crash that occurred on Interstate 35.

According to reports, on November 4, a tanker truck was traveling south on Interstate 35 when the vehicle became involved in the collision. The front tire of the truck blew out near mile marker 45, resulting in the vehicle traveling toward the median and rolling over several times.

The cargo on the trailer dismounted and continued rolling onto the northbound lane of travel.

The driver suffered critical injuries in the crash. He was airlifted to a hospital in San Antonio, where he underwent emergency medical treatment.

The crash remains under investigation at this time.
