Texas Truck Accidents

Truck accidents in Texas leave thousands of people injured every year. Regrettably, a significant number of these accidents are completely preventable. Speeding is one of the most common causes of truck accidents. Truck drivers often feel pressure to meet deadlines and may speed to make up time. Speeding makes it more difficult to control the vehicle and increases the likelihood of an accident.

Distractions can also lead to a loss of control of the vehicle. Truck drivers may be distracted by their passengers, other vehicles on the road, or their own thoughts. Fatigue is another common cause of truck accidents. Truck drivers often work long hours and may not get enough rest.

Fatigue can make it difficult to concentrate and increases the likelihood of an accident. When a driver is tired, they may not be able to react as quickly as they need to in an emergency situation. All of these factors can combine to create a dangerous situation on the roadways.

Regrettably, these and other acts of negligence continue to cause harm to innocent people every day in our state.
