Weatherford, TX – Woman Fatally Injured in Truck Crash on FM 51 near Old Agnes Rd

Weatherford, TX (January 13, 2023) – A 39-year-old woman has died as a result of a truck accident that occurred in the Weatherford area. Just after 7:30 a.m., on January 9, multiple emergency agencies from Parker County responded to the scene of a traffic accident that occurred on Farm to Market Road 51.

According to law enforcement, a vehicle was T-boned by a commercial truck on Farm to Market Road 51 near the area of old Springtown Road.

The impact of the collision caused severe damage to the second vehicle.

The 39-year-old woman driving the vehicle was fatally injured. Authorities responded to the scene of the accident and pronounced the woman deceased from her injuries. A passenger in the vehicle, a 10-year-old, suffered injuries. The child was rushed to a hospital in Fort Worth for emergency care. The driver of the truck was uninjured.

At this time, investigations are underway by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
