Truck Crashes in Texas

Each year, truck accidents take the lives of thousands of people across the United States while leaving tens of thousands more injured. In many cases, people are left with significant injuries that require medical care. Following an accident, it is important that victims are able to get justice. However, when drivers and vehicles flee the scene of the accident, getting justice can be more complicated.

If you or a loved one were involved in a hit-and-run truck accident, it is important to know that you have legal options available to you. If the truck driver who hit you fled the scene, you may be able to file a personal injury claim against their insurance company.

In order to file a successful personal injury claim, you will need to prove that the truck driver was at fault for the accident. This can be difficult if the driver fled the scene, but there are some steps you can take to gather evidence. Witness statements from any bystanders who saw the accident can be helpful in proving fault. In some cases, surveillance footage from nearby businesses may have captured the accident on camera.

If you are able to prove that the truck driver was at fault for the accident, you may be eligible for compensation for your pain and suffering, medical costs, and more. An experienced and knowledgeable truck accident lawyer in Austin can help you navigate the claims process and fight for the compensation you deserve.
