Truck Accidents in Texas

Truck accidents take place frequently in the state of Texas and have overwhelming consequences for those involved. Many people are left with significant injuries that require medical care. Common injuries that follow truck accidents here in our state include:

  • Traumatic brain injuries.
  • Internal organ injuries.
  • Spinal cord injuries.
  • Broken bones.
  • Cuts and lacerations.
  • Nerve and muscle damage.

Suffering any type of severe injury following a truck accident can impact your life forever. Regrettably, many people are left permanently disabled as a result of the injuries that they suffer. Following an accident, there is a good chance that you will need to undergo some form of medical care. Depending on the severity of the injuries, you may have to go through several weeks or even months of therapy and rehabilitation.

The unfortunate truth is that there is no amount of medical care that can guarantee a full recovery. Unfortunately, the cost of care can be significant. Injuries like traumatic brain injuries or spinal cord injuries can quickly result in hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical care.

In order to ensure you have the money that you need to cover medical expenses, lost wages, and other financial burdens that you face, it is important that you take legal action right away. A Texas truck accident lawyer can help you file a personal injury case against the person who is responsible.

There are several parties who can be held liable for injuries and damages resulting from a truck accident. This includes the driver of the truck, the manufacturer of the parts, the cargo loading company, the maintenance company, the owner of the truck, or even the trucking company. A thorough investigation is needed to determine who is at fault and what legal action is available to help you move forward. A skilled attorney will be able to take this task off your hands so you can focus on getting better.
