Enid, OK (November 17, 2022) – A pedestrian crash took place on Tuesday evening in Enid that claimed one person’s life. At around 4 p.m., on November 15, the
Enid Police Department responded to the scene of a crash on West Owen K Garriott Road.
According to reports provided by law enforcement, a 2006 Peterbilt semi-truck was traveling in the 1000 block of West Owen K Garriott Road when it struck a pedestrian near South Van Buren Street.
The pedestrian, an adult male, was fatally injured in the crash and pronounced deceased at the scene. He was later identified as 64-year-old Thomas Scalley.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
