Ennis, TX (January 5, 2023) – A truck accident took place in Ennis that prompted officials across Ellis County to respond. Calls for help were received just before 9 a.m. on December 29.

According to authorities, a raw collar was involved in a major collision on Highway 34 in the area of Old Telico Road. The incident blocked multiple lanes in the area, causing delays in traffic.

The impact of the collision caused the truck to go off the roadway and strike a tree.

Police and firefighters responded to the scene and secured the area.
