Fatal Truck Accidents in Texas
Fatal truck crashes claim the lives of hundreds of people in Texas each year. They can cause severe injuries or death to other innocent people sharing the road. If you have lost a loved one as a result of the fatal truck accident, you may be able to seek financial compensation from the liable party. It is crucial that you are able to determine who is at fault. Depending on the circumstances of the accident, there may be multiple liable parties.
The first party that may be held liable is the truck driver. If the driver was careless or negligent in operating the truck, they might be held responsible for any resulting accidents or injuries.
The trucking company that employs the driver may also be held liable. If the company engaged in negligent behaviors while maintaining the vehicle or if they knowingly hired an inexperienced or dangerous driver, they could be held responsible for any accidents that occur.
Finally, if the accident was caused by a defective truck part, the manufacturer of that part may be held liable. If you’ve been involved in a truck accident, it’s important to speak with an experienced attorney who can help determine who is at fault and help you recover the compensation you deserve.
