Houston, TX (December 5, 2022) – A truck accident took place on Friday in the Houston area that caused severe delays in traffic while leaving at least one person injured. On December 2, officers with the Houston Police Department and area firefighters responded to the scene of a crash on Interstate 610.
According to reports, at around 915 a.m., a crash involving a semi-truck took place on the westbound side of Interstate 610 in the area near Wayside Drive. The crash blocked three main lanes of travel and one shoulder on the roadway. The incident caused severe delays in traffic as emergency crews worked to clear the scene.
At least one person involved in the crash suffered injuries and was transported to a local hospital for medical care.
The police in Houston are currently investigating.
