North Dallas, TX – FedEx Driver Killed in LBJ Freeway Crash near Hillcrest Rd

North Dallas, TX (January 5, 2023) – A major traffic accident took place on the north side of Dallas early Wednesday evening that claimed one person’s life. At around 4:30 p.m., on January 4.

According to reports provided by the Dallas Fire-Rescue, a FedEx 18-wheeler was involved in a collision on the eastbound side of LBJ Freeway in the area near Hillcrest Road. The impact of the crash caused the vehicle to overturn.

The driver of the FedEx truck, who has not been identified publicly, was fatally injured in the accident. The victim was pronounced deceased by responding officers.

The police and firefighters blocked off multiple lanes on the eastbound side of the freeway as they worked to clear the area and investigate.

Investigations into the crash are currently underway.
