Oklahoma Truck Accidents

A truck accident can change your life forever. Unfortunately, tens of thousands of innocent victims in the United States are negatively affected by truck accidents every year. Here in Oklahoma, we see a significant number of people left with severe injuries following these accidents.

In many cases, victims suffer injuries as a result of negligence. When victims are harmed by others, they can file legal action against them. In order to prevail, it is important that victims have clear and convincing evidence regarding what took place at the time of the crash. There are many factors that can contribute to who is at fault following a truck accident. However, the best evidence to prove fault will vary depending on the unique circumstances of each case.

Some of the most common pieces of evidence used to determine fault in a truck accident include:

  • The police report
  • Eyewitness accounts
  • Evidence from the scene of the accident
  • The truck driver’s logbook
  • The truck’s black box data recorder
  • Photographs or video footage of the accident
