Truck Accidents in Texas
Although any type of collision has the potential to cause serious injuries and damage to others involved, when accidents involve semi-trucks and large commercial vehicles, the chances are greatly increased.
The size difference between a car and a truck, as well as the speed at impact, are both factors that contribute to more severe injuries in truck accidents. The larger size of a truck means that it has more mass and momentum, which can cause more damage to a car or other smaller vehicles. The speed at impact also plays a role in the severity of injuries, as a higher speed can lead to more force at the time of the impact.
People who are involved in semi-truck accidents are often left with severe injuries. Some of the injuries that we see commonly reported following these accidents include:
- Neck pain and stiffness
- Shoulder pain
- Upper back pain
- Lower back pain
