Durant, OK – Multi-Vehicle Truck Crash at N 1st Ave & W Mulberry St

Durant, OK (January 2, 2023) – Several vehicles were involved in a truck accident in Durant that left at least one person injured. On December 29, the police and firefighters were called to the scene of an accident on North 1st Avenue.

At around 6:10 p.m., officials were notified that multiple vehicles collided on North 1st Avenue in the area of West Mulberry Street. A total of three vehicles were involved in the accident. A truck involved in the accident ran off the roadway and crashed into a building.

Police and firefighters rushed to the scene of the accident and secure the area.

Medics were called to the scene to care for injured victims. Air ambulance was put on standby for transportation. Those who required further care were transported to local hospitals. However, the method of transportation is unknown.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
