Houston, TX – Hit-and-Run Semi-Truck Crash Reported at I-45 S & N Shepherd Dr

Houston, TX (December 19, 2022) – A truck accident took place in the Hidden Valley area that resulted in injuries. At around 4:15 a.m., on December 18, the Texas Department of Public Safety out of Houston was called to the scene of a crash on Interstate 45.

Preliminary reports show that a semi-truck and a second vehicle collided on the southbound side of the interstate during the early morning hours. The semi-truck fled the scene of the accident.

The second vehicle involved in the accident came to rest on the southbound side of the roadway near North Shepherd Drive. Authorities responded to the scene of the accident to provide assistance.

EMS was called to treat the victim and transfer them to a local hospital.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation by DPS.
