Houston, TX – Man Struck by Metro Bus on Pierce St in Downtown Houston

Houston, TX (December 19, 2022) – A man was hospitalized following a crash involving a Metro bus that took place in downtown Houston on Saturday evening. At around 11:55 p.m., on December 17, the Houston Police Department responded to the scene of a crash on Pierce Street.

According to law enforcement, a man was walking in the area of 1099 Pierce Street when he was struck by a Metro bus.

A man suffered injuries due to the crash. He was provided treatment at the scene of the accident and loaded into an ambulance, where he was transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

The incident remains under investigation by the Houston Police Department.
