Truck Accidents in Oklahoma

A truck accident can change your life forever. Unfortunately, truck and commercial vehicle accidents are the cause of thousands of deaths every year across the United States. Here in Oklahoma, we see countless people injured or killed as a result of these accidents.

In many cases, truck accidents are a result of some form of negligence. Leading factors in commercial vehicle accidents across our state include:

  • Driver error: This is by far the most common cause of commercial vehicle accidents. Driver error can include things like speeding, making an improper turn, or simply not paying attention.
  • Poorly maintained vehicles: If a commercial vehicle is not properly maintained, it can lead to accidents. Poorly maintained vehicles can have problems with their brakes, tires, or lights, which can all contribute to accidents.
  • Weather conditions: Bad weather can make it more difficult for drivers to see and be seen and can also make roads more slick and dangerous.
  • Road conditions: Potholes, construction zones, and other obstacles on the road can all contribute to accidents.

If you have been harmed as a result of a truck accident, there is a good chance that you will have to go through extensive medical treatment. The fact that these vehicles are much larger than others means that they are likely to cause significant injuries or even death to those involved in accidents with them. If you have been hurt as a result of a truck accident, you may be able to secure financial compensation for the damages you face.
