Wellston, OK – Turner Turnpike Crash with Semi-truck Ends in Injuries

Wellston, OK (November 29, 2022) – A traffic accident took place in the Wellston area on Tuesday morning that sent two people to local hospitals with injuries. At around 9 a.m., on November 29, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol received a request to provide assistance at the scene of an accident on Turner Turnpike.

According to law enforcement, a commercial vehicle was involved in a collision on the eastbound side of Turner Turnpike near mile marker 159. A tire blowout on the vehicle, which was carrying crane equipment, while traveling down the roadway. As a result, the vehicle crashed.

Two people suffered injuries as a result of the accident.

At this time, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
