Los Indios, TX (January 11, 2023) – One person has died as a result of the truck crash that took place in Los Indios on Wednesday. On January 11, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to a traffic accident on Military Highway.

DPS crash reports show that a semi-truck and a Nissan Altima sedan collided on Military Highway. The incident blocked both directions of the roadway near Rangervuille Road. DPS rushed to the scene of the accident to provide assistance.

The driver of the Nissan, 67-year-old Pedro Reyes, sustained significant injuries due to the crash. Emergency crews responded to the scene to treat the victim. However, he passed away on-site.

The Texas Department of Public Safety and the Los Indios Police Department are both investigating the accident.
